Non-fungible tokens (NFTs) are growing despite the relatively slow phase of crypto assets this year compared to the last two years. In 2022, enthusiasts witnessed the announcement of multiple NFTs linked to popular names such as singer Madonna, tennis star Coco Gauff, and actor Bill Murray.
Soccer player Ronaldo, who is currently in the news as he is expected to leave Manchester United, has also partnered with Binance for the NFT collection. Among these star-studded events, relatively small projects are also intriguing to enthusiasts. Two of these NFT projects are Crazy Monkey and Gutter Cat Gang.
Let’s take a quick look at these and the wider NFT space in terms of asset prices.
1. Crazy Monkeys NFT
There are two sets of NFTs, “Crazy Monkey” and “Crazy Monkey”, which are available to enthusiasts. This can confuse people. The former is listed on the Moonly Marketplace and is a collection of 3,333 digital assets. This set is said to have assets generated by an algorithm that uses the Solana blockchain network. The coining date for this collection was January 24, 2022.
Another set, “Crazy Monkey,” is available on the Foundation NFT Marketplace. This set is owned by a young Vietnamese visual artist, Le Thanh Tung. There are five NFTs in the collection, the prices of which are listed in the Foundation’s ETH sect.
Neither of the above two with similar names is expensive. NFTs may be trending, but high bids from digital art enthusiasts haven’t been sought yet.
2. Guttercat Gang NFT
This collection is projected as a ticket to the “Underground” Web3.0 social club. The Guttercat Gang is called the club’s “premium” membership. This is in contrast to other assets that include “dog” and “rat” in their names for gangster base-level membership.
The premise here is that in the future, humans will inhabit multiple planets and the earth will be hijacked by cats. Other NFTs like Gutterrat are competing for an advantage over Guttercat. The project also includes products such as funky shorts and T-shirts. A total of 3,000 NFT assets from Gutter Cat Gang are listed on OpenSea, indicating that the website currently has 1,800 owners.
The minimum price for the Gutter Cat Gang collection is listed as 6.2 ETH tokens, which is lower than the minimum price for the CryptoPunk and BAYC collections.
The above collections are very affordable compared to the high-value sales of Beeple, CryptoPunk, and BAYC assets. Beeple, along with other artist Pak, is one of the best-selling NFT artists in the world. Multi-asset projects include CryptoPunk and BAYC, some of which are purchased at the expense of millions of dollars.
This year wasn’t surprising when it came to selling NFTs. Even the entry of a celebrity like Madonna couldn’t cause as much enthusiasm as the previous year. Some consider NFTs to be high-priced collections that shine just because ownership of the collection is recorded on the blockchain in the form of NFTs.
Beeple NFT Selling Price
NFTs can be confusing not only because the space is flooded with assets, but also because there can be multiple collections with similar names. Crazy Monkeys NFT is one such example. Apart from this, a new NFT marketplace has been added to a huge number of spaces. This all requires attention and due diligence on behalf of NFT enthusiasts.
