DeFi space has lost two of the most talented developers.
Andre Cronje, a self-proclaimed “DeFi architect” who became famous as the founder of the yield optimization protocol Yearn.Finance, is forever moving away from DeFi and cryptocurrencies. Another builder, Anton Nell, who is best known for his connections to the Fantom ecosystem, also bows with Cronje. Nell broke the news with a tweet on Sunday. “Andre and I have decided to close the Contribution chapter. [sic.] After writing “in the defi / crypto space,” Nell added that “this is a decision that has been made for some time.” Nell, who worked closely with Cronje on various projects, explained that he would shut down the website managed by the pair and leave the space.
