It’s not surprising that companies are on the cusp of NFT at this point. However, some of these announcements love themselves to their regular audience, but in tweets revealing that projects can often go back to hell and increase their proportions.
This was almost the same as the one recently announced Archie Comics NFT -But there are additional bonuses. Archie reused an existing Discord server and Twitter account to provide a big platform for NFT drops, but it doesn’t work at all. Previously used for Archie Comics-based discussions and gifts, Discord is now full of typical NFT Brothers, and fans are repulsing. From boycotts of the series to “stealing” new users’ NFTs, Discord members aren’t lying down.
“Until this plan is abandoned, I will stop purchasing all planned Archie products. The deployment is disastrous and a” deep in crypto “individual who enters an apparently undesired artistic space. I’m not keen on it, “says one user.
“Most of the people here are children and should not be allowed to buy speculative assets. I do not believe this project is destined.”
Archieverse NFTs aren’t just collectibles that can be resold. Investors will also have access to a “role-play channel,” a fanwork submission portal, and “potential for future participation in Archie comic projects.” Only “selected artists” will receive credit and loyalty for their work.
Another fan is particularly having trouble with this. “The majority of people who buy these things will be a lot [of] A crypto investor who doesn’t care about only one thing about Archie Comics, “they write. [Archie Comics] Then it says it will be terrible or it will crash and burn terribly. “
The user’s prediction was correct, and the server was filled with users with ape profile pictures. You’ll have to manually opt in to get interested in Archieverse, but you’ll still see NFT discussions and announcements, so there’s no way around it altogether.
This merger of Archie fans and NFT enthusiasts has given moderators a lot of contention. While I’m on the server, users are banned because they are hostile to new members. Some seem to be banned to “steal” another person’s NFT.
“We need to leave this server,” says another fan. “I researched this topic. I don’t support this company for this.[…]I’m disappointed. There is no “eco-friendly” version here. There are no goals here and the fees are in our environment. Like many others, they share a Folding Ideas video on this subject. especially.
The excitement for the project is negligible and in the meantime. Some are taking a “wait and see” approach, and a few new members say they are at least fans of both Archie and NFT. However, it is no exaggeration to say that the first reception was overwhelmingly negative.
If Archiverse is still in the process of its intended launch, NFTs will drop on May 16, 2022. 66,666 will be cast and initially cost $ 66.66. The team has not responded publicly to the backlash.
