Coinbase In October 2021, we announced the NFT Marketplace. Now, seven months later, the cryptocurrency exchange is launching a marketplace. The news came out on Wednesday (May 4th).
Now that the marketplace is open, some numbers are coming. Let’s see how it worked.
In that debut week, total 900 transactions Generate sales volume 73 ETH ((((As of May 2009 $ 1,73,000). Given Coinbase’s huge market size, that number isn’t very promising.
However, crypto exchanges do not share the number of users who are granted access to transactions in the market. Therefore, it is still early to conclude how the market will function in the long run.
Coinbase, on the other hand, does not currently charge any transaction fees (for a limited time). In addition to launching a new NFT project on the platform, we also plan to introduce some of the existing projects, the Bored Ape Yacht Club.
