The team behind the smart contract platform Cardano (ADA) is announcing a new upgrade to its own crypto wallet.
According to a new video released by Input Output Hong Kong (IOHK), the Daedalus wallet will now run on Cardano Node 133, which will significantly improve sync time and memory usage.
In addition, this update enhances the security features of crypto wallets.
“Daedalus 4.9.0 uses Cardano Node 133, a version that offers significant improvements in sync time and reduced memory usage.
What’s more, Daedalus now provides detailed information about what the node is doing internally, especially at startup.First, verify the integrity of the copy [ADA] Blockchain. Then replace the last valid snapshot ledger. “
According to an update note released by IOHK, the full node wallet also includes improved user interface, new search and sorting capabilities, and outbound screen automation.
“Daedalus 4.9.0 improves feedback on the node sync stage and updates the submit screen, stake pool list view, and wallet menus.
The sync screen now shows detailed information about all node sync stages. The submit screen automatically updates the minimum ADA required to process the transaction and includes a new dialog for selecting tokens.
Delegated stake pools are now displayed in the stake pool list view. The wallet menu now includes a search and sort function. “
Cardano was trading at $ 0.85 at the time of writing, down 13.5% from its seven-day high of $ 0.986.
