You may not know the difference between NFTs and NSOs (the Israeli company behind Pegasus software), but according to the Israeli-based indie work website Fiverr, 64% of U.S.-based freelancers We are profiting from the sale of NFT related services.
A survey of about 1,000 freelancers was conducted in collaboration with Censuswide, a UK-based research firm.
NFTs (Non-Fungible Tokens) are exclusive, usually digital assets such as works of art, essays, and in-game upsells backed by blockchain.
Fiverr reports on its website that the number of freelancers listing NFT service gigs increased by 278% in just one quarter from the third quarter to the fourth quarter of 2021.
That has led to some big profits: Freelancers report that NFT service revenue surged 374% over the same period. In addition, the number of searches for NFT services on Fiverr increased by 345%.
“NFTs are becoming a great way for our illustrators, artists, designers and developers to cash out their skills and collaborate with companies and individuals investing in this area,” said Fiverr’s CMO. Gali Arnon said.
“The fact that more than three out of five freelancers are already making money by selling NFTs and related services is a visionary freelance talent that keeps track of the latest technology trends. It shows that you are. “
What are those related services? “Blockchain technology, cryptocurrencies, Metaverse,” Arnon adds.
