The International Cricket Council (ICC) and its digitally collectable partner, FanCraze, have announced the launch of a series of women’s cricket non-fungible tokens (NFTs).
“ICC Crictos” presents the most impressive moments of recent ICC Women’s Cricket Tournaments, including the 2020 Women’s T20 World Cup and the 2017 Women’s World Cup more than 50 times.
The first pack of NFTs will be dropped on March 9th, including the moments of the recent Men’s ICC U19 World Cup and other men’s tournaments over the last 20 years.
The first release will include 500 packs priced at $ 99 per piece. Each pack contains one female token, two “general” male tokens, and a fourth random Cricto. Each purchaser is limited to one pack.
There are six different categories of tokens: General, Rare, Epic, Legendary, Platinum and Genesis, the latter being the rarest.
This announcement was made in conjunction with International Women’s Day and the Women’s World Cup in New Zealand.

The news came when FanCraze announced a new sponsorship agreement with Cricket West Indies (CWI).
The multi-year contract will show the cricket brand on the front of the West Indies men’s team play shirt in a three-test series with England.

The partnership will also see the pair develop NFT programs and Metaverse products featuring West Indies players and archived footage. According to the official release, there will be more opportunities for digital trading cards, games and other experiences.
