Patricia A. Ripple Obituary – Massillon Independent

Maciron’s Patricia A. Ripple, 95, died on Monday, June 27, 2022, after a brief deterioration in her health at Amherst Meadows Assisted Living.

She was born on August 10, 1926, to Masiron, the daughter of the late Roy and Kathryn (Smart) Hillier.

Patricia was a well-known and skilled watercolor painter who published her work in the collections of local businesses and individuals. She taught many local art classes over the years and she continued to teach art until she was 95 years old. She was an Ohio Watercolor Society, American Watercolor Society, American Whiskey Painter, Massillon Museum, Canton Museum member, Canton Artist Charter Member League, Massillon Women’s Club, First United Methodist Church.

Patricia is survived by her daughters Deborah K. (Thomas E.) Rigget and Jody A. (Daniel) Snibley. Her son, Kevin S. (Lori) Ripple; 9 grandchildren, 12 great-grandchildren, and a few nieces and nephews.

In addition to her parents, she preceded her death by her husband, John B. Ripple, sisters Carmen Finley and Kathryn R. Keefer, who died in 2009. Brother, Leroy P. Turner, and one niece.

The funeral will be held on Friday, July 1, 2022 at 11:00 am at Heitger Funeral Home-Jackson Chapel, 5850 Wales Ave. NW, Massillon, and will be moderated by Rev. Les Peine.

Depending on the health of the family, there will be talk hours at the funeral hall from 10 am to 11 am before the service. All guests are required to wear a face mask.

Her last resting place is Masiron’s Rosehill Memorial Gardens.
