The Recording Academy partnered with Quincy Jones-backed blockchain company OneOf to offer Gourami NFT in April.
The Gourami NFT Collection is officially released today and is available to all fans for free NFT. There is also a single “Golden Ticket” NFT that includes two all-inclusive trips to the 64th Grammy Awards in Las Vegas on April 3rd.
Over the next three weeks, OneOf will release additional NFTs as part of the Grammy NFT collection. These NFTs feature artists from diverse backgrounds and feature OneOf’s mission to support women and POCs in the web3 space. The artists included in the project are:
- Emony Larssa – Two Emmy Award-winning directors and animators in collaboration with Kanye West, Lil Nas X and Megan Thee Stallion.
- Andre Ossia – A 3D animator who has worked with Adult Swim, Snapchat, Tidal and John Legend.
Each artist has a week dedicated to dropping and includes multiple layers of rarity and a single token OneOf auction item. A portion of all proceeds will go to recording academy scholarships to support artists.

OneOf is built on the Tezos blockchain. This means that creating an NFT on a platform uses only one-two millionth of the energy of other proof-of-work networks. OneOf is dedicated to philanthropy and allows artists to use the platform to donate to selected charities.
“We are excited about this partnership with OneOf and have decided to remove these exclusive NFT collections leading up to the 64th Grammy Awards,” said Adam Roth, SVP of Partnership and Business Development at the Recording Academy. Says.
“Being at the forefront of technology and at the same time servicing the music community with new and innovative platforms is just the beginning of what NFTs are doing to change the landscape of music and increase the income of music creators. ..
OneOf recently also announced a partnership with Warner Music Group. The partnership will create OneOf an exclusive NFT for the various artists in the WMG catalog. In December, an unreleased recording of 17-year-old Whitney Houston was sold for $ 1 million. This is the most expensive music auction on the Tezos blockchain to date.
