Ripple has announced the first independent creators to receive funding for NFT projects through Ripple’s Creators Fund. When global NFT market sales reach $ 25 billion in 2021, NFT PRO, Ethernal Labs and onXRP will also partner with Ripple to integrate XRP Ledger (XRPL) for faster and lower cost. Provides a carbon-neutral NFT experience. For their users.
Independent creators, from artists to musicians, game designers and builders, can apply for Ripple’s Creator Fund. Ripple, the only creator-centric fund on the market, offers clear benefits by integrating marketplaces with creative agencies (existing partners Mintable, mintNFT, VSA partners, etc.) to help creators grow their communities. Use the XRP Ledger to help you on your way to minting. We will continue to support creators on a rolling basis by setting themes for each “wave” of the application. Early creators include those who submitted projects focused on NFT use cases, from Metaverse & Games to Art & Collectors. The Wave 1 theme will be announced in the second quarter. These themes will enable us to explore existing and new NFT use cases in XRP Ledger, while future themes will enable us to explore media and entertainment, sustainability, and real estate.
Monica Long, GM of Ripple’s Ripple X, said: “Through creator funds and strategic partners, we are leading more creators towards a tokenized future and enabling NFT apps and use cases with our XRP ledger.”
Launched in September 2021, the Ripple’s Creator Fund is a $ 250 million effort to help creators get started with cutting-edge NFTs. The fund has so far attracted nearly 4,000 applications to realize the value and benefits of XRP Ledger over tokenized assets. The built-in decentralized exchange (DEX) provides rapid settlement of all types of tokenized assets, including NFTs. Last May, Ripple proposed the XLS-20. This is the standard that supports native NFT types and seamless NFT experiences in XRP ledgers.
