Dalmore recently partnered with BlockBar to launch a new whiskey expression, the 33-year limited edition Pauillac Premier Grand Cru Classe Cask Finish.
Following the first collaboration, which sold out in minutes, the Scotch Whiskey Distillery launched a limited production of whiskey 33 years ago as an NFT through BlockBar.com, an NFT marketplace for fine wines and spirits.
This is the first time Dalmore has sold the entire barrel exclusively on this platform. In September of this year, Dalmore and Blockbar invite the owners of this NFT to an exclusive event at their chosen location to celebrate the bottling of this rare liquid from barrels.

On March 29, the first 10 bottles of Dalmore, 33, were made available to existing BlockBar NFT holders through the site’s lottery. Priced at $ 8,800, NFT holders of the first drop of this 10 bottles will be invited to an exclusive hosted VIP experience at the Highland Distillery, excluding flights.
The 213 second drop block list (pre-sales registration) began on Wednesday, March 30th to sign up prior to the NFT release on Tuesday, April 5th.
When empty in September, 33-year-old Dalmore goes to work with 51% alcohol. Distilled liquor manufacturer notes show the taste of cassis, blackberries, citrus fruits, marzipan, licorice and soft spices and will continue to grow over time.
Cask bottling will begin in early September and physical bottles will be redeemable in late December of this year.
The NFT acts as a digital receipt that confirms the ownership and reliability of the buyer’s whiskey bottle. Each bottle will be stored in a secure facility at Block Bar in Singapore until the buyer decides to redeem the bottle.
Upon purchase, the encrypted version is secured by BlockBar and a record of authenticity is kept on the blockchain as a digital ownership certificate. Buyers can store NFTs in digital bars, give gifts, redeem physical products for delivery from BlockBar’s secure storage facilities around the world, or secure NFT versions within the BlockBar.com marketplace. You can choose to trade.
This partnership follows the previous sale of the Dalmore Decade No. 4 collection, which sold out for $ 137,000 in just minutes in November 2021.
Dov Falic, co-founder and CEO of BlockBar, said in a prepared statement: By purchasing The Dalmore 33 Year Old Vintage at BlockBar, owners will have the rare opportunity to attend a festive bottling event at a venue selected by the community anywhere in the world. “
Gerry Tosh, Private Client Director at The Dalmore, said: It takes artistry to make each bottle of Dalmore. So we’re happy to have the first 10 buyers of this special single malt experience the home of whiskey. “
